That golden pen, I sure didn't steal
But the judge still says, there's no appeal
I may have to buy my way out of this place
I'm stuck in this southern jail, what a disgrace
Friends with fly's and a loud rat as well
I'm the only buzzard in this hell
I was feeling sickly in this jail
Warden sent the doctor, with out fail
Thought she was surely getting a bit soft
Might have known, I was just being scoffed
Don't know, what I was thinking
I did spy, the warden and her evil winking
My mind may be going somewhat crackers
For the doctor, seemed a bit of a quacker
I now feel, somewhat stuck
Since my visit from doctor duck
Yes I do know, this is not just talk
Can't you see the doctor, do the duck walk
The Ed's promised, soon a jail break
But I need some gold for goodness sake
That rat, I wish would soon shut up
My friends will help, fill my tin cup
I don't intend on sounding rude
But I think they put something in my food
To me my mind, just doesn't seem that sound
For last night, I could have sworn I saw a clown
I sure do appreciate the Ed's help
Careful you don't end up in here yourself
You can't trust that Mouth of The South
I know this for the rat told me himself
