Accountability
This piece seems to illustrate our world today.
Blame clouds linger
jabbing fingers
hard against the
darkened skies.
Peals of thunder
Cast asunder
Roll beyond that
Blood red eye.
Sounds of weeping
Black rain sweeping
Cloaked beneath these
broken sighs.
Lightning shatters
Nothing matters
Now that truth has
Crushed the lies.
