Another Day
In thoughts again I feel you here
Here where things are kept endeared
And though imagination mine wild runs
I reach for you to find no one
Begin it does as picture yours
Is kept as well where things endure
Of heart and mind, body and soul
The need to have also to hold
Consolation is no prize
But photo yours still kept close by
Brings back a smile, a skipped heart beat
Again knocking me off my feet
Though silly this write will read
I care not who may come to read
As long as you find time to glimpse
Upon these words where my heart sinks
Though things have changed I have not
I still whisper your name alot
Just to bring back peace to mind
Where once we were and you were mine
