Norman, A Lovely Man!I saw Bible cases, lovely ones, And I was really chuffed. The thing is this, without protection... Our Bibles will end up scuffed! So I went on EBay and saw them, In white and in hot pink!! I took it with to church last night; Wondering what my Vicar would think! So I bought a pink one for myself, Its ‘leather' I didn't know that! And it's great! I decided I wanted to buy one more For my daughter...then I saw our mate! Cos you see this was the original plan... I was actually buying another for me, And another; for my daughter too! But I saw a friend, and I knew what I'd do! And so I've decided to give her one, A leather Bible case in ‘hot pink'!! That'll be 3 of us with one now, Oh, what will the people think? I told the seller the full story; I couldn't believe what he said to me, He's put an extra one in the post, And sent it to me for free!! Now isn't that just amazing? We I certainly think it is I have to say! Cos not only did I get a shock, That man's truly made my day! So 3 of us now with posh cases, Oh dear, what a sight to see... Cos when we get our Bibles out... They shall see the ‘pink ladies'...three!!! But because I decided to give one away, This brought a gesture from this amazing man, Cos I was going to treat myself to one in 2 weeks, Well, ok, I'd told myself that I can!! But I think it would have been longer, Before I could have treated myself - that's true, But I would have got one in the end, And this is why Norman, this poems for you! I find all the time throughout my life, And I have to say it's absolutely true... There are amazing people in this world, And Norman, one of them is you! So I wanted to thank you properly, And this is just my way... How I thank the lovely people like you, Because you know you've made my day! Thank you from the bottom of my heart!
