Pure Joy

I love you and miss you,
You are my joy and crown;
So I will tell you true,
That smiles from a frown.

Just keep trusting the Lord,
With the right attitude;
To be loved and adored,
And never to be rude.

Be joyful in the Lord,
Be joyful and rejoice;
Let it not be ignored,
By lifting up your voice.

Let all know you are kind,
How generous you are;
Gentle in heart and mind,
When reaching for a star.

The Lord is always near,
So never become stressed;
For He will calm your fear,
While you will be blessed.

But each time let God know,
What you need in your prayer;
And leaving the thanks flow,
With the love He will share.

Then the peace of God lives,
Beyond understanding;
Guarding thoughts as it gives,
What life is demanding.
