THAT PERFECT SONG
My heart wants to write
it's own words to a song
a praise sonnet to sing
when I'm broken and torn
those perfect lyrics
that remind me that - Your near
removing every heartache
dispelling every fear
words that are borne
from the victory that YOU give
words that - when near death
enliven me to live
a song - with power
to bring my heart to Your feet
a song that assures
with Your fellowship I'll meet
THAT perfect song THAT WILL
carry me through sorrow
one that promises
brighter hope for tomorrow
THAT PERFECT SONG that belongs
to just me and YOU
that steadies me secure
my entire life through.
