Land Of The Rising Sun

Mother Nature unforgiving  as she wreaks her awesome power
With earthquake, storm and tempest, the order of the hour
The people lost and helpless; they are dying in the rain
The babies lost to mothers; unspeakable their pain

And what was once a village is now buried in debris
Ten thousand souls are missing, their spirits flying free
We sit and watch the images unfolding on a screen
The horror reminiscent of an Armageddon scene

The words are unforthcoming of reason and of blame
A violent act of nature; catastrophic is the flame
A time to pray for miracles, regeneration has begun
And time the only healer in the land of the rising sun.
