I can't understand the destruction?
When something so tragic and sad...
Is brought to light, this terrible plight,
For the heartbroken mum and dad!
An ocean of tears have flown,
Parents are torn apart,
Over what they did to the children,
Don't these people have a heart?
Did they not consider...
The consequence of their deed!
Or was it for their own gain?
Was it even down to greed?
There are no excuses...
And nothing they could do,
Could ever make us comprehend,
What they've put these people through!
Someone has to answer...
And explain the reasons why...
They did the things they did,
That made a nation cry!
Unnecessary destruction...
What was going through their mind?
How could people do this deed?
For its heartless and unkind!
What about the aftermath?
How do the parents deal...
With the burden that they carry,
And the pain that they all feel?
They took organs, like a thief in the night,
And not one word was said!
No consent was asked for...
No respect given for the dead!
What is this world coming to?
When people do as they please...
Unnecessary destruction,
The culprits should be brought to their knees!
Disbelief and shock...
Horror of what they've done,
Now no one will ever trust again,
All confidence has gone!
I've cried until I'm dry,
For the parents who are involved,
And no amount of apology,
Will help this tragedy be resolved!
There is no excuse for this,
For the life sentence of all concerned,
And we hope and pray, that from this day...
A hard lesson will have been learnt?
Never should it have been allowed,
And someone 'is' to blame,
May they never forget the hurt they caused,
AND MAY THEY LIVE THEIR LIFE IN SHAME!!
