Pain, I believe is a test?
A burden we are to carry,
How bad and how long is debatable,
As through life we tarry.
Everyone has a cross to bear,
Some more than others I'd say,
But like it - or lump it, its true,
We all have to get through the day!
There is always someone worse off,
Look around and you will see...
How do they cope, is it easy?
As people believe it top be?
No one knows for sure,
What happens behind closed doors?
People from all walks of life,
Fighting their own sorry wars.
So before we dwell on our misrery,
Let us remember not forget...
There 'are' worse off than others,
People we havent yet met.
People say I'm unlucky,
With so many problems to bear,
But to them I say, I'm lucky!
Cause though my problems are bad...
I'm 'still' here!
And though at times its so hard,
To begin another day,
And even though I may despair,
At least I'm alive, and I'm able to say...
I always tell myself this,
As long as we wake up in pain,
It means we're still alive,
To face a new day...again!
