Disasters
As long as we live there will be many exposures
To both natural and man made disasters
And depending on the hemispheric location
Some may only threatened at a specific season
But there are area, that are located most unfortunately
In a position that are always in the height of activity
So the population always stand prepared and ready
Because they can be exposed to so many.
Haiti was further compounded when it had take
The brunt of a very devastating earthquake
Then this was followed certainly, quite quickly
When on also shook the county of Chile.
But Haiti if now under much pressure and sorrow
Had also on its back, the problem posed by cholera
Very regularly it got hit time and time again
By many of those dreaded Atlantic hurricanes.
These quakes like they seem to have a plan
As another one hit in an very distant land
Causing much destruction by its vibration
Whilst working its way in an island of New Zealand.
A few years ago Asia got hit by a large tsunami
A wave moving at a five hundred miles an hour velocity
But this year one paid a visit to a particular section
When it put a damper on the progress of Japan.
The water had such a forces and it kinetic energy
Seem to move every thing so quickly and easily
It was hurting and a sight so very depressing
To see buildings just crumbling and tumbling.
The tsunami was one thing, but there is another fear
The possibility of the fall out from the power of nuclear
There would always be that memory of that world war
Many can still see the results of that horror.
Even though we are on the other we still feel the effects
Because a producer and an importer has taken a few licks
But no one can predict or circumvent the course of nature
And no preparation can in some cases, reduce the disaster.
