EQUINOX OF SPRING

EQUINOX OF SPRING

SPRING AWAKING

The spring equinox occurs at 1:14 a.m. EDT on Tuesday  March 20

Cold winter winds now turned to soft springs zephyr
pirouetting to the equinox of spring

Changing cold gales to warm breezes
spinning round and round up in the sphere

Brown twigs now arrayed with green leaves
Yellow daffodils swaying with warm breezes

Short sleeve say good bye to woolen sweaters
Winter's ice and snow no longer wears fetters

Once again the day and night are in perfect balance
Earth's days and nights are equal each has a perfect twelve hours

Day's time will start to lengthen
Soon hot summer days will be strengthen

Spring has freedom to bloom
sweetening the earth with fragrant perfumes

A woven tapestry crosses the world
As God's splendor begins to  unfurl

directly hits the Earth's equator making the night and day
