Reflection of the Word

Reflection of the Word
Lets be swift to hear, slow to speak, and slow to wrath
Put in to practice everyday the Word that was engrafted
Taking time to listen with an open ,yet guarded heart
Being slow to speak means thinking  before you start
Consider the wrath that was held back on our behave
Share in the forgiveness that we as Gods children  have
As we look into the mirror we see all things made new
By the Word that give direction on what we should do
We are not just hearing, but putting the Word into action
Because in just merely hearing there is no satisfaction
Reflections of the word means reflections of Christ
Examples of the one who died that we might have life
He saw past our faults, our selfishness, and greed
Turned away His wrath and met our need
So as you gaze in the mirror, look again
Making sure everyday that you look like Him
Who the Son as set free is  truly free indeed
Drafted and empowered to meet world needs
We need to walk like and talk like. We represent
It's not just a religion that made you repent
There are fatherless, and widows, and people hooked on dope
The reflection of the Word will give them hope
