How are we supposed to feel?
when innocent lives will be lost
civilians and soldiers killed
the world was calm
but now we are under siege in a storm
now all you hear are the bombs going off
guns are blazing, blood is shedding
everywhere you turn the war is right there
tv sets are full of images
the one question no one can answer
when will this war be through?
at what cost will we defend freedom?
our brave and courageous soilders
say with our lives and everything we have
we will not lose this war
we will free these people and show them to freedom
only then will the war be over.
