heaven please take me away©
No amount of time
will heal or ease my pain,
there's no reason or rhyme
that i'll ever again be sane.
I'll be grief-stricken
until the day i die,
everyday without him be a sin
till in the ground i lie.
He walks w/me and talks w/me
but only in my dreams,
i am but a shell so lonely
there's simply no in betweens.
I face everyday heaven bound
ready to take my place with him,
the coo of the dove will sound
cause peace will come in heaven.
To go to work he'd be up soon
waiting for his return my pooh bear,
maybe i found a new tune
to sing together and share.
And he couldn't wait
to see what i cooked to eat,
nothing i made he would hate
thinking my cooking couldn't be beat.
Now cooking i have no heart to do
and eating is even a chore,
but i must have a morsel or two
for SOMEDAY? to have strength
to walk to that beautiful shore!
