Catherine and William Kate, a future "Lady" of the crown, one day ventured out into the town. Amidst the throngs awaiting, she'd insist they address her as "The Queen of Amethyst." She wore purple raiment with golden braid, the finest velvet there was ever made. Her flowing garments swished as she walked by and caught the fancy of the Prince's eye. All knew William, one day, would be King, and so the doves of white began to sing. As William called to Catherine with pride, he prayed she would consent to be his bride. Then suddenly the sky rained purple bows, the trees were kissed with velvet hearts of rose. And when the doves of brown began to sing, the sky rained down two golden wedding rings. William's heart soon filled with ecstasy, and he proposed to Kate on bended knee. The townsfolk cheered and drank the wine of life, when Catherine became Prince William's wife. The Crystal Castle where they both reside, breathes love, as though it really was alive, with golden braid entwined throughout its beams, a land of magic, stardust and of dreams. Vote for this poem
