Unlocking the Open Door
The One who is holy and true,
Has a key from David for you;
It opens a door no one can close,
And is filled with your cares and woes.
Who shuts a door if not open,
And Jesus knows what you have done;
Since He could just open the door,
For revealing your sinful core.
Because you are extremely weak,
Since it is just pleasures you seek;
And very little have you heard,
Of the eternal Holy Word.
But you have paid attention though,
Since the Holy Word you do know;
And you have not denied His name,
For you even go and proclaim.
Christ is willing to give a seat,
So you can rest your weary feet;
With Satan being your footstool,
As means to mock and ridicule.
That is so you see just how true,
With Jesus Christ is loving you;
For you have obeyed to endure,
Your salvation He will assure.
Christ will keep you safe during when,
While testing the world again;
So those that are living on earth,
Will be shown what is their true worth.
