 193. My Gift
I awoke
And though
Only of myself
What needs
To be done
Today
Next…

I forgot
That I was
On a mission
That I had a gift
That I was meant
To give one
And I got tangled
In my own
Blasted mental
Weave
Web
Of lies
Of limitations
Of todo's
That only
Made me
Crazy…

I was supposed
To meditate…
I'm sure
You know
How THAT
Went,
Out the window
With all sense
And the gremlin
In my basement
Seized his opportunity
To take over
Until…
I remembered
That it was
Your birthday.

No need
To invent hell
When I get
Trapped in my
Own head…
Until the world
Outside of it
And me
Calls me home
To my senses
And love.

My love for you
Saved me
Today.

I remembered
That I have gifts
To give you,
To give others
To make this world
Better
For the
Both of us
For all of us.

Thank you
For saving me
From my mental
Entanglement.

I love you,
And that
Is just the
First gift
I have to
Give you…
