LUXURIOUS DINNERAn illiterate, unemployed, and a father of five With caring,kind-hearted disabled wife. They live far from the ocean to be a fisherman, No land to cultivate, till he found something and begun. Before dusk,he walks from the village to the city Pushing his cart that carrying buckets, with his meshes of curiosity He stops to each food chains checking the waste drums To get some leavings in there, and share a bit to his chums It's almost dark when he came home, Everyone welcomed him with those little eyes that shone. That night, they got knotted noodles, chicken bones, and flattened pieces of burgers, Overjoyed hearts for those graces that they got, Uttered their gratitude through their fervent prayers.. --Carla ^_~ Carla-- 4/1/'11 ŠApril 1,2011 Carla Megy Haze-drizzleofthoughts Poetry Ad-Free Upgrades Vote for this poem
