i kiss the floor he stood on©
We didn't get to say i love you
before he was taken away,
but we had a hug and kiss between us two
if only we knew it was our last day.
The last time he stood on this floor
was really the last,
he'll never again walk thru that door
of my life the best 29 yrs.went too fast.
If only i could turn back time
to when we first met,
but his love is forever mine
and his last day on earth i'll never forget.
I was living the american dream
now it's just a nightmare,
my heart's ripped apart by every seam
plans left on earth we'll never share.
My heart skips a beat
every time i wake,
that he'll be there to greet
the waiting i can longer take!
(Heaven:my dream come true i pray,
will soon be a last breath away)
