On the Cross, He bears our transgressions
For our sake, He endures humiliation;
Behold the Lamb of God,
By His wounds, we become worthy of God's love.
His Cross of Love - our Cross of Faith
His love is real love, our shield from hate;
through Him, God's grace is overflowing,
Even up to His death, He is all-forgiving.
His scent of Mercy - our scent of peace
How an anguish has turned into bliss;
His blood overpowers darkness and sin,
We're made free and never be slaves again.
