MY TROUBADOUR

 my troubadour

MY TROUBADOUR

Words spinning like a silver carousel in my mind
sonnets moving in and out of rhyme

Moonlight captured in misty topaz
My dreams are graceful renewed

Visions fragile with age
carries his image far beyond my touch and gaze

Children move as from another world
collecting stardust inside clouds that whirl

Flowing beauty dance among the lights
reflects colorless topaz in shades of blue and yellow and white

Writing lines of poetry touched by an unseen pen
I recognize my Troubadour's voice whispering in the wind
