THIEF!

Like a thief who
comes in the night
leaving destruction and
insecurity in his wake

you
came into my life
and in the aftermath
stole my heart
took my trust
made me fall in love

Stolen Heart Pictures, Images and Photos

I don't really know
where to turn now

Life has flipped
inside out
upside down

This wasn't supposed to be…
I thought you were long gone

You left me once, twice,
hurt and feeling the fool
and back then I hadn't
even acknowledged

what I now know

I loved you…

I love you

And what do I do with that
how do I tell you?

I shouldn't
that's what everyone says
they say you don't deserve me,
say you're without character,
say you've played with my heart…

Have you?

All I know is
I don't care what they say…

I just want you to bring back my heart
cradling it gently in your hands
I want it back or
I want you

to give me yours
