Wishing on a star...Wishing on a star so bright, high up in the sky, Hoping in your heart of hearts, that you're not going to cry! But then you realise what you see! Its nature all around, Even in that sky so high, God's creation is all abound! But this lovely world He gave us, is being destroyed bit by bit, And just when things seem better, another part of the world is hit! Bombs here, grenades there, bullets flying all about... Taking this goodness all around, and simply wiping it all out!! This is so precious to us, though to some you wouldn't know, For they don't care about anything, but for others, this isn't so! I appreciate the surroundings, given to us by God above, We should accept those surroundings, as well as His love! For the beauty that's around us, is His. He gave it, He will take it away.
