God is good but a jealous One,
For He will be second to none;
So you must honor and obey,
The Lord each and every day.
For none will He take a back seat,
They will be footstools for His feet;
Because the Lord will begrudge,
And take revenge being the judge.
His vengeance will be full of rage,
If another tries to upstage;
Because the power of His wrath,
Will be felt if they cross His path.
But the Lord is patient and kind,
Those who put trust in Him will find;
That the Lord has such a great strength,
That perseveres at any length.
God ensures the shamed are punished,
Obstinate for being blemished;
For the guilty will see His wrath,
As raging storms marking His path.
The clouds are the dust from His feet,
That lightning strikes the ones who cheat;
When He yells it sounds like thunder,
And will the ground to asunder.
His cold winds will make you shiver,
And the blooming flowers whither;
God will cause the mountains to quake,
If we keep trying to forsake.
