small miracle

what an amazing situation
looking down from above
on the face of your lover
in the course of making love
the changes of expression
that fly across her face
as the love making brings
its own state of grace
huddling and cuddling
coming down to earth
maybe together feeling
ajoy pride and self worth
the smile of satisfaction on
mutual sating of a need
the relaxing of two bodies
a small miracle indeed
