 Tousled

Spring awakens boisterously

Budding trees dance wild and free
Hopeful limbs grasp for the sky
Clouds like feathers flutter by

Such splendid madness beckons me

Canticles of vernal Glee
Birdsong happy jubilee
Frenzied voices raised on high

Spring awakens boisterously

West wind chasing, north wind flees
Bullies hapless bumble bees
Past the meadow, through the rye
Whipping round the windmill's fly
I spy a hawk fight with the breeze

And Spring awakens boisterously
