 once upon a time

johnmcguckin78gmailcomheathergibsonjohnnyduncangeishashadowsontheheart
Nearly there, the wheel of life spins rapidly.
We cannot stand at rest whilst
the wheel turns full circle.
Shall we look back in wonder or despair?

This life we live is decided by our actions.
Can we say 'I did alright, did good, did badly'?
Each cycle and how we spent it reflects
Friendships or affections garnered by our actions.

Can we say 'here take my hand'.
We gave all we had.
Our love, our protection.
Maybe we ignored people.
At the end of the circle
we start a new beginning.
Let's hope by our actions
we are accepted in heaven.
