Resurrection Day-For Many Has Passed Away

The children once again will have a celebration
Down through the ages of many generations
While the true meaning is being lost of My Resurrection
Exalting the easter bunny without my name mentioned

I see churches around the globe with each passing year
With grander egg hunts and humans dressed in bunny gear
Making their lack of worship for Me perfectly clear
They that hath an ear let them hear

Seek ye first the kingdom of God and His righteousness
This pagan celebration isn't commemorating Jesus
The King of kings and Lord of lords arose on this day
After being nailed to a cross to wash mankind's sins away

Let everything that hath breath praise ye the Lord
Ashtoreth the pagan goddess birthed this tradition into the world
The true origin of Easter can be searched out to see
In no way shape or form is this tradition honoring Me

Those that worship God are to worship Him in spirit and in truth
Search the scriptures that this revelation can be given unto you
The merchants are the devil's advocate to steal wages for this
The devil often finds a way to steal,kill and destroy praises from Jesus

Although many can search out this unadulterated truth
They'll continue to turn a blind eye as they may so choose
Conforming to the world's way and it's pagan traditions
Instead of exalting their Savior and My Resurrection

They yearly celebrate My manmade birthday being another tradition
Yet most households leave Me off of the guest list without invitation
The adults say it's for the children while the true meaning they miss
While satan empties their pockets again for all of this
Once again he steals the praises intended for Christ Jesus

Children are gifts from God and parents are to train them up
in the way they should go
Yet down through the ages the multitudes of generations
do not know
As they pass down pagan traditions instead of My word
that they may grow
To be God fearing men and women instead of led by satan to and fro

Whatsoever ye do in word or deed,do in the name of the Lord
No easter bunny died on the cross ever to save the world
The Holy Spirit was given to lead you into all truth
Search the scriptures lest you doubt this truth given unto you

Note: The Holy Spirit spoke to me several years ago saying:
"Look up the true origin of easter" when I was being
vexed in my spirit with each email share of bunnies and eggs and chicks.
I said ;" I don't understand what is going on Lord , I sure wish I did"
Just as I was walking out the door to go to church I heard it plainly.
I couldn't wait to return home to look it up and I got the surprise
of my life! Afterwards I wondered how I didn't connect the
dots earlier myself.The Holy Spirit continues to inspire poems
to share in re: of the truth.
I pray on this Resurrection Sunday that you will be mindful of this,
not to grieve the Holy Spirit and the heart of Jesus.

after the rudiments of the world, and not after Christ.

Col.3:1-4,16-17
1 If ye then be risen with Christ,
seek those things which are above,
where Christ sitteth on the right hand of God.

2 Set your affection on things above, not on things on the earth.

3 For ye are dead, and your life is hid with Christ in God.

4 When Christ, who is our life, shall appear,
then shall ye also appear with him in glory.

16 Let the word of Christ dwell in you richly in all wisdom;
teaching and admonishing one another in
psalms and hymns and spiritual songs,
singing with grace in your hearts to the Lord.

1 Peter 1:7,13-25
3 Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ,
which according to his abundant mercy hath begotten us
again unto a lively hope by the resurrection of
Jesus Christ from the dead,

4 To an inheritance incorruptible, and undefiled,
and that fadeth not away, reserved in heaven for you,

5 Who are kept by the power of God through faith unto
salvation ready to be revealed in the last time.

6 Wherein ye greatly rejoice, though now for a season,
if need be, ye are in heaviness through manifold temptations:

7 That the trial of your faith, being much more precious than
of gold that perisheth, though it be tried with fire,
might be found unto praise and honour and glory
at the appearing of Jesus Christ:

13 Wherefore gird up the loins of your mind, be sober,
and hope to the end for the grace that is to be brought
unto you at the revelation of Jesus Christ;

14 As obedient children, not fashioning yourselves
according to the former lusts in your ignorance:

15 But as he which hath called you is holy,
so be ye holy in all manner of conversation;

16 Because it is written, Be ye holy; for I am holy.

17 And if ye call on the Father, who without respect
of persons judgeth according to every man's work,
pass the time of your sojourning here in fear:

18 Forasmuch as ye know that ye were not redeemed with
corruptible things, as silver and gold, from your vain
conversation received by tradition from your fathers;

19 But with the precious blood of Christ,
as of a lamb without blemish and without spot:

20 Who verily was foreordained before the foundation
of the world,but was manifest in these last times for you,

21 Who by him do believe in God, that raised him
up from the dead, and gave him glory; that your faith
and hope might be in God.

22 Seeing ye have purified your souls in obeying
the truth through the Spirit unto unfeigned love
of the brethren, see that ye love one another
with a pure heart fervently:

23 Being born again, not of corruptible seed,
but of incorruptible,
by the word of God, which liveth and abideth for ever.

24 For all flesh is as grass, and all the glory of man as the
flower of grass. The grass withereth,
and the flower thereof falleth away:
25 But the word of the Lord endureth for ever.
And this is the word which by the gospel is preached unto you.

James 4:
4 Ye adulterers and adulteresses,
know ye not that the friendship
of the world is enmity with God?
whosoever therefore will be a friend
of the world is the enemy of God.

5 Do ye think that the scripture saith in vain,
The spirit that dwelleth in us lusteth to envy?

6 But he giveth more grace. Wherefore he saith,
God resisteth the proud, but giveth grace unto the humble.

7 Submit yourselves therefore to God. Resist the devil,
and he will flee from you.

8 Draw nigh to God, and he will draw nigh to you.
Cleanse your hands, ye sinners; and purify your hearts,
ye double minded.
