Another thought sneaks out the door
Or through SAY window in mind once stored
Making it's way, tapped by key stroke
Spilling, spelling what soul evoked
At 3am you have to ask
Yourself again, what in minds tasks
The need to write maybe conjure
The heart that has something it ponders
Maybe of you or someone loved
These words that read birthed feelings of
What once was then that changed somehow
To what now is as time allowed
Faith becomes your only friend
Both time and ear yours will lend
That voice inside that needs to tell
Your thought process you tried to spell
