Life back then would chart the course to state of being upon a source
Sedating mind, body and soul, smoking MJ that took control
Years would pass them by where smoke
Would blind them both with every toke
They would inhale and feel alive
A higher plane, be not denied
Their quest of sorts would soon become a call to serve, to serve the One
Who makes all things once old now new, a change of life for them ensues,
A high unlike their testimony, changed by Him this matrimony, would see the Light that called to them His Love became their will to bend
GOD made it so and so it came, to pass and seek who took their blame
Upon their cross not His that bore, sinless The CHRIST who keeps no score
And so today life has become committed to serving The Son
Of Man whose word has saved two more, theirs to spread, past their front door
This high, their fix, this drug of choice
Is now JESUS, for them rejoice
