TIMELESS
Time.
More precious
Than a shimmering emerald
Whose beryl has lustre
Dug from granite
Far beneath our feet.
Time is priceless.
Time is a gift for young and old.
Fear not to squander it
On senseless reasons
As with the tick
Of every second
Our life is one step
Nearer the end.
Embrace each moment,
Savour the taste of freedom
And walk unencumbered
With a wave of breeze.
Delight in all things simple.
Buds of blossom,
A baby's gurgle,
Moonlit nights lay seeking the stars.
Nurture the soul
To a place of reverence and
Be it in thy honour
To minister the broken
And forlorn.
