Now Joe you seem to have settled down,
From when you were a little lad,
Cos you drove everyone up the pole!
And when they didn't see you they were glad!
I got told many a tale at the shops,
I was told you went there every day,
You asked if they had any jobs for you,
But they bagged up sweets and sent you away!!
The reason they did this, they said was...
....Because they just didn't know what to do?
And they knew how much you loved sweets!
So they gave you them free to get rid of you!!
They told me you were 100 miles an hour,
Well of that I did agree! A lot!
Cos you zoomed here and there all the time,
Never once broke into a trot!
Full of beans and ideas you were!
You drove many a person mad!
But they also said you were a lovely boy,
But were glad you weren't there lad!
So now you've grown, and haven't altered,
You are still as mad as you were,
But I have to say, one thing about you...
...is that you don't flippin' care!!!
You've always aimed too high!
And I worried about you a lot,
But it seems there was no need at all,
Cos you've worked for what you've got!
So high expectations are awaited,
To see how your life will pan out!
But you will continue at 100 miles per hour,
Of that there is no doubt!
So this big daft heart that I've peeped at,
Is buried deep down below...
But one day soon, it has to be said,
That heart of yours will be on show!!!
