TANGO FOREVER
He was the one that made my imagination soar…
the one who made my heart beat faster,
my blood rage within my veins…
the rhythm in my soul
came alive whenever I
was dancing in his arms
His passion for the tango was a thing of beauty…
and when I felt his arms encircle my body,
we were transported through time..
my spirit flew to the streets of
Buenos Aires and passion
controlled my body;
I was his
His love for the music was ingrained within him…
though he wanted to feel the message I sent,
he was suspicious of my devotion
so he turned away to another,
she, who felt nothing
stole him away
He was the one I waited for so long to find me…
the one who showed me the depth within,
with very little language spoken;
it was not needed between us
but his love of the dance
took him far from me…
yet, in my heart I still dance with him
and shall, forevermore…
