Managing Fear
As I sit here and think back how often over the years
We were sometimes controlled by lots of fears
But now I realize after all this time
This was so because of perceptions in the mind.
So to set thing right, so as to do myself some justice
Decided to find some time, to do some tests
There I looked at the areas, that pose those problems
And made a concerted effort to correct them.
First was to meet those animals and creatures, that I feared
Getting close to them, letting some part in me be repaired
The it struck me, as I observed them, this was quite clearly
That they too had that fear, and so looked me over quizzically.
Then there were some material that avoided, in my course of study
So this too i decided to tackle, so I made myself ready
In those previous years, they really were such a poser
A shift in paradigm over time, made them a lot easier.
Then there were those ones, brought by those attitudes of people
Making one feel themselves to be on very little value
Now it is quite clear to see, why they took that way
And after many years, they are still the same today.
There are people who up until this day, for sure
Have added to their fears even more and more
Never for once, believing its their life's responsibility
To iron out any of their life's idiosyncrasy.
