Guiding Love of Christ
No longer do we think,
A human point of view;
For through Christ that we drink,
Of all that we construe.
A believer in Christ,
Is a new creation;
Who has been sacrificed,
Through His reputation.
The old way of living,
Completely disappeared;
Since God is forgiving,
Because He is revered.
We now live a new way,
Because what God has done;
A path for not to stray,
When we follow the Son.
Because Christ has restored,
Our relationship;
That cannot be ignored,
The heart does Christ equip.
Christ gives us the Gospel,
A ministry to preach;
Telling all the people,
Going out as to reach.
God does not hold the flaws,
Against each of us here;
If one honors His laws,
And with respect and fear.
So the Father had Christ,
Who was free from all sin;
And had Him sacrificed,
That new life can begin.
