I seem to be
An angel
But I am
Human.
I seem to be
The most evil
Manipulative
Deceitful person
They have ever known,
But am
Honest to a fault.
I seem to be
Perfect
But I am
Only myself
Mistakes
And all.
I seem to be
Creative,
And I am.
I seem to be
Marching to the beat
Of my own drummer,
And I do,
But I still have
To pay
The bills.
I seem to be
An artist,
And I am,
But I am so much
More than that.
I seem to be
Kind
But you have never
Heard the things
Inside my own
Head as I criticize
Myself.
I seem to be
A really cool poet
But next to
People who are writing
About their lives
Rather than
Imaginary metaphors
I am a poser.
I seem to be
A liar,
But I can't help
If you don't
Believe me.
