Pam's World

It's never convenient working at a convenience store,
each and every day my life is filled with horror.
Can you turn on the pump? or where's the bathroom at?
Is this lottery ticket a winner ? or how much is that hat?
They think that I'm a dummy and all I do is sell gas,
they're are so many I'd like to say please kiss my ass.
Oh you work for BP isn't that the bad oil company?
I look and smile and say do you need help in aisle three?
Then there's the coffee clutch from the elders in the town,
interesting how long they chat drinking the coffee to last ground.
Children running in and out going every where,
minors at the register with alcohol as if I would not care.
Tankers coming and vendors too when I have so much to do,
there's days I just want to scream and say you can have this place,
but then there's that customer that comes in and puts a smile upon my face.
