AUTHORIZED

I’m authorized to take your life.

Don’t ask who authorized me.

Suffice to say, I have the authority.

It’s enough that I proclaim I’m authorized.

look around

Why ask to be spared?

Is this life worth living?

Here I am. Consider me, the reaper man.

It’ll help you accept, that I’m authorized.

The eyeless men gave me a gun,

sent me on my way.

Called out to me 'you’re the reaper man'.

Authorized to kill anyone and you are anyone.

You need to know how I got authorized.

Easy - the elected men decreed it.

We won’t question their authority,

even though, we elect them.

Shall we ever truly know these men

when they are in authority?
