Merciful Flight
Upon wings of this earth they fly
A trip, the cause, this brief goodbye
To walk upon volcanic ground
A mission theirs of body sound
The miles will bring attention to
A cause greater than just the two
Leaving home with one intent
Until returning somewhat spent
Mother, daughter no greater bond
This team of two has been around
This park of sorts, this path before
Mission set on island tour
Vacation time, more time to be
With one another making two we
Accomplish trek their fantasy
Will come full circle in Hawaii
Daughters of Mercury
Their place to be
Upon winged sneakers
Footloose and free
