Be Joyful Always
Rejoice in the Lord our God,
Always be joyful and be glad;
Showing to Him honor and laud,
Always be joyful and not sad.
Again I say for to rejoice,
Let everyone know your love;
So I say to lift up your voice,
Being considerate thereof.
For you know that the Lord is near,
So never worry on anything;
Because you have nothing to fear,
If it is the cross that you cling.
Let God know of your needs in prayer,
Your trials and tribulations;
Any intercession to share,
As well as your jubilations.
Give God thanks for all He has done,
Along with the Holy Spirit;
But especially for His Son,
Allowing you to inherit.
Just think of having no more strife,
While living in paradise;
Inheriting eternal life,
In order just to be precise.
Then His peace will go well beyond,
Anything that you could conceive;
When having a spiritual bond,
If you genuinely believe.
