Soldiers Young & Old

Men who are young
men who are old
So many galant stories
that they told

They lie in the fields
To await their foe.
From where the enemy comes
they do not know.

Fighting with bravery
fighting with passion.
Old guts and glory
it's an American fashion.

No matter the stakes
they shall not flee.
For they know their God
watches over thee.

Years have gone by
and friends long gone.
This is my tribute to them
for they were so strong.

It's this day I reflect
and shed my tears.
I have laid to rest
all my fears.

Let us not forget
the stories they told.
Men so galant
both young and old.
