 Behind The Mask
Behind The Mask

Behind the mask of solitude
Worn for lack of fortitude
Is he or she that GOD does call
You who slipped and took a fall

His strength not yours will guide you through
Because of love, because of you
He sent His Son to die, claiming His fold
Through sacrifice beyond all stories told

Blood of the Lamb would come to spill
Upon a tree the word fulfilled
Redeemed by Him some fail to see
Broken for you and yes too me

Behind the mask of unworthy
He sees the one beyond worthy
Though doubts you have it's not of you
To think as less, veil torn in two

This act alone would open door
For you to pass, walk Heavens floor
You behind the mask that tasks
With faith your own if you just asked

Behind the mask you need not wear
Is innocence not tapped but scared
The child he gave mother to birth
Loved one beyond all worldly worth
