FITTING IN

Who said we have to fit in.
Fit into what? How other people live?
Follow the crowd? Be sheep, give in?

Don't believe in the in-crowd.
Me, I'd rather stand on the outside.
Looking at all the people trying to fit in.

Seems most people are other people.
Oscar Wilde got that right.
Why, because most people want to fit in.

Be different. the It's only way.
At least you're you,
a person in your own right.
Not caring if you're liked
or worrying about fitting in.
