My Darling

Close your eyes my darling
And dream of me tonight
For Christ our Lord is calling
I finally see His light

We had so many good times
I hope you won't forget
Treasure all the memories
We both have been so blessed

Hold my hand my darling
The time is coming soon
When I will have to leave you
Remember I love you

And when I get to heaven
I'll finally be pain free
So darling please don't worry
Please do not cry for me

Kiss me my sweet darling
For this will be our last
I hear the angels coming
My life will soon be passed

The mercy of our Savior
Has come to save my soul
So let me go my darling
Release me from your hold
