Poetic Verses
A Journey
As a young man journeying across the world's treacherous seas
Not knowing the pitfalls that will be in those many uncertainties
But in my mind I know there has be be some form of preparation
As it is up to me, to deal with the problems of any situation.
Among them, try never to be caught unaware, and have any fears
In those moments when there will be some pressure from my peers
As they will try to maneuver me into a way they can have that hold
So that on my life, the may exert some degree of control.
Being this young, there is no way to be that sound financially
But may still want to be abreast with those changes, especially in technology
So therefore will have to be on guard, against the wiles of many
Will come to me, trying to tell me of ways to quickly make some money.
Most of all must try to control the temper, know the danger
That can be the result of, ones actions due to quick anger
And there is certainly, no such fun with the finger
Caused the shot to be released from a fun after pulling the trigger.
Sometimes there will be a moment, when I could fold
But then it only cause me to dig deeper, to get back in control
There is that temptation, driven by a feeling of lust
And I may have to be even stronger, not to be promiscuous.
I know there would be times when there will be mistakes
But should not let it my spirit and temperament breaks
As this will happen as I embark on life's job
So will learn from it, and will not sit around and sob.
Therefore what I have learned , and was taught that is quite evident
That no matter what, existence is always in some form of environment
And I must try to find ways to those many forces
That I will encounter in all of life's course.
