"One Life, One You" I've grown old of these sinful days We may wanna try changing our ways Killing ourselves with the same names And life..... is playing us like Sim games A stranger in the mirror as we gaze Its discouraging walking around this maze Can we even be saved I'm reaching out, trying to get out of this cave Ooooooo, of course too narcissistic, why be brave So you'll sit there with a propitious crave We've made life fritter Wasted time with fictitious words and meaningless thoughts as we twitter But yaaa a sinner, so who am I to criticize What can I say hypocrisy follows just thought I should advertise Veiled by a ballroom mask, figured y'all would be tired of living a half-ass lie As for me, think imma buy a new tie I suggest you try yourself as a fit Life is strenuous as it is, your gonna get hit Known for its wondrous mysteries Don't you know the real you is one of its beauties Poetry Ad-Free Upgrades Vote for this poem
