Blurry Vision
Love never will come to an end,
It will remain there as a friend;
For it is a gift that will speak,
When it is God to whom you seek.
There is a gift to speak in tongues,
Foreign words that will fill the lungs;
Gifts to use when angels are near,
And with God to honor and fear.
A gift of knowledge and wisdom,
While thinking of His kingdom;
And much of it will be revealed,
When the book of life is unsealed.
But our knowledge is altered,
Since we endlessly have faltered;
And no longer will it be used,
For we have sinfully abused.
We are blind anytime we speak,
Through the pleasures that we will seek;
And our tongues can never know,
The foreign words that are to flow.
And our love has gone away,
Because we keep going astray;
As we have been putting more worth,
On the things that are on this earth.
Now too blurry in the mirror,
And cannot see any clearer;
For the person with dark hair,
Is now gone and no longer there.
What remains is faith hope and love,
As we are looking towards above;
No longer with childish ways,
Now an adult stuck in a maze.
