Peace with God
Through faith we have been justified,
Because the Son was crucified;
So we have the peace through our Lord,
With God that should not be ignored.
Because Christ is our Savior,
We can then stand in His favor;
Our confidence we receive,
Glory from God since we believe.
We also brag when suffering,
Not just when we are flourishing;
For suffering makes you endure,
In tests or tempted by a lure.
Endurance creates character,
With confidence to feel surer;
And so you are never ashamed,
With the Gospel being proclaimed.
For the love of God will impart,
As it is poured out of your heart;
Given from the Holy Spirit,
From all that we do inherit.
As we look inside the Gospel,
Christ died for ungodly people;
For all have sinned and fallen short,
Of the glory for His support.
But death of Christ was to restore,
The relationship through a door;
As sons and daughters that are we,
Having eternal life to be.
