In remembrance of you on
"Fathers Day"
1921-2002
~~~
Dad' it was really hard,
having to let you go.
Things have never been the same,
That we all do know.
Even though your gone,
Your spirit lingers near.
our many memories of you,
We'll always hold so dear.
Whenever I think of you,
your sitting in your chair'.
I'm still hearing your voice,
I'm remembering your white wavy hair.
With your strong stern nature,
you made us all so proud.
How you'd pick & tease,
We'd all laugh out loud.
You were always so strict,
with your strong fatherly ways.
So' whenever you did speak!
We'd move in a real quick pace.
You loved your 'Irish Setters'.
You loved to fly your plane.
You loved to ride your 'Harley's'.
Nothing you done was in vain.
Yes' you loved your hunting,
you loved your fishing too'.
you loved to camp in the wilds
you were a sportsman Thur & Thur.
You were proud to serve your country,
you were a patriotic man.
You stood for what you believed in,
you were a real 'Macho' man.
Now were missing you dad,
On this 'Fathers Day'.
We've no card to send,
Because your gone away.
Although we miss you so much,
your memory is as dear today,
As it was in that fateful hour,
when Jesus took you away.
I know your at peace 'Dad'
In the 'Heavens' up above.
May you look down on this earth,
and know your always loved.
~~~
We'll all see you again Dad
'Happy Fathers Day'
