 From all of the places...
From all of the places
and all of the times -
we gather our glimpses
and order them so...

From all of the memories
and all of the lines -
we puzzle the pieces
row after row...

From all of the sermons
and all of the prayers -
we hit at the horror
and bury the black...

From all of the sabbaths
and all of the bore -
we sigh at the sameness
and hurl it straight back...

From all of the bias
and all of the myths -
we fight through the verbiage
and spit out the lies...

From all of the hurting
and all of the hell -
we look for the logic
and try to be wise...

Joy Weare,
18th June, 2011.
